WSP Bursary 2018
WSP bursaries are awarded to students who have completed their first year of study within one of the following fields:
Students will be able to take up vacation work during the course of their studies and employment opportunities upon graduation.
Who Can Apply for WSP Bursaries?
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
South African citizen
Currently studying towards an Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering bachelors degree
Will be in your second or third year of study next year (2018)
Achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
Environmental Science students:
Currently studying towards a Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Science (Honours) qualification
Will be in your third year of study/ studying towards Honours next year (2018)
Achieved a minimum overall average of 75%
NOT be in receipt of any other bursary/ scholarship award for next year
Preference to be given to previously disadvantaged students
Students must also possess the following skills/ competencies:

Good priority and time management skills
Good leadership skills
Able to constructively as part of a team
Pay attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to well under pressure
Strong sense of community

Most recent tertiary progress report/ academic transcript (certified copies)
Two written references
Signed letter of declaration confirming that you are not in receipt of any other bursary/ scholarships awards for 2018
